Hotel Metamorphis - Prague 4 Star Hotel

The luxurious hotel is located directly in the heart of the Old Town of Prague, right next to The Old Town Square.. The house formerly known as „The Blue House“ and the whole courtyard are protected by the UNESCO. Originally, three houses were built here, but after the big fire in 1689 they have been reconstructed under participation of Mr. P.I.Bayer.

The building itself contains the original eastern gate of the Ungelt. On the ceilings of the underground – nowadays restaurant – the original parget from 1689 has been preserved as well, which now is protected as a historical monument. Last recostruction of the building was done in year 2000.

Hotel Metamorphis is situated directly in the heart of the historical centre of Prague, in the UNESCO listed area of Ungelt. The building history dates back to 9th century, formerly the building served as custom house during a florishing business period.

The hotel offers accommodation in 32 rooms incl. appartements and suites, which are sensitively built into the former spaces. All of the rooms offer luxurious equipment and some of them offer stunning view of the Ungelt and the Tyn church. Most of them air-conditioned, accessible by lift. The hotel offers 2 restaurants – Café and Club Restaurant and a meeting room with possibility of meetings and social events. Parking in the hotel area.
